Wordle” is a popular online word puzzle game where players are given six chances to guess a five-letter word.

Each time a player submits a word, the game provides feedback on the correctness of the word using a unique hint system.

The hint system in Wordle consists of colors, specifically grey and yellow.

When you enter a word:

  1. If a letter in your guessed word is not in the target word, it will be displayed in grey.
  2. If a letter in your guessed word is in the target word but not in the correct position, it will be displayed in yellow.
  3. If a letter in your guessed word is in the correct position in the target word, it will remain black.

By using these hints, players can make educated guesses to deduce the target word with only a few attempts.

The challenge is to find the correct word with the least number of guesses possible.

How To Get A Wordle Hint Without Spoiling The Whole Puzzle?

It’s a delicate process….

Wordle is a word-guessing game where you have six chances to guess a five-letter word based on the feedback given after each guess.

To preserve the fun and challenge, follow these tips to obtain hints without giving away the entire solution:

Limit the hints you seek:

To maintain enjoyment and challenge, try not to ask for hints too early. Give yourself a fair chance to make some initial guesses and gather information about the word.

Ask for specific information:

Instead of asking for the entire word or a list of correct letters, ask for information about certain letters. For example, you could ask, “Is the second letter ‘E’?” This narrows down the possibilities without revealing the whole word.

Request feedback on specific guesses:

If you’ve made a guess that includes some correct letters but is not entirely right. ask about the accuracy of certain letters in that particular guess.

For example, if you guessed “HEART” but got three letters correct, you can ask, “Are the first and last letters correct?”

Phrase your questions carefully:

Be mindful of how you word your questions to avoid inadvertently giving away too much information.

Instead of asking, “Are there any ‘Ts in the word?” you could ask, “How many ‘T’s are in the word?” This way, you only get the count without knowing their positions.

Use negative queries:

You can also ask about the absence of specific letters in the word. For example, “Is there no ‘R’ in the word?” can be helpful without revealing any correct letters.

Combine hints:

Use the hints you receive and combine them to make more educated guesses. For instance, if you’re told that “A” is the second letter and “T” is not in the word, you can try words that fit these criteria.

Exercise patience and practice:

Wordle, like any word game, requires practice and a good vocabulary. The more you play, the better you’ll get at making educated guesses without relying heavily on hints.

Remember, the goal of Wordle is to challenge your word skills and have fun along the way.

Wordle has streaks that track how many games you’ve played and how many successive victories you’ve had.

People love trying to keep their streaks going as a challenge. You can’t play Wordle in apps; it’s only available through a web browser like Chrome or Safari.

Here’s How to Play Wordle?

Okay, let’s play Wordle with an imaginary gamer…

Game: I will think of a five-letter word, and you have six tries to guess the word.

Okay?

After each guess, I will provide feedback on which letters are correct and in the right position (🟩), which letters are correct but in the wrong position (🟨), and which letters are not in the word at all (⬛️).

Remember, the word is a common English word, and there are no repeated letters.

Got it?

Let’s begin!

I have thought of a word. What is your first guess? Please type a five-letter word using uppercase letters.

Now let’s say I say: Apple

Game: Great guess! Let’s see how you did:

🟩🟩⬛️⬛️⬛️

You got two letters right and in the right position (🟩) and two letters that are not in the word (⬛️).

Keep going! What’s your next guess? Remember, you have six attempts to figure it out.

I (John):  Application

Impressive guess! Let’s check the result:

🟩🟩⬛️🟩🟨

You got two letters right and in the right position (🟩), one letter correct but in the wrong position (🟨), and one letter that is not in the word (⬛️).

You’re getting closer! What’s your next guess? Keep going! You still have four attempts left.

John: Apply

Game: Well done! Let’s see how you did:

🟩🟩🟨🟩🟨

You got two letters right and in the right position (🟩), two letters correct but in the wrong position (🟨), and one letter that is not in the word (⬛️).

You’re making progress! What’s your next guess? You still have three attempts left. Keep it up!

I start getting fed up now, so I just answer casually this time. just to make a wordle hint. (of course, it won’t work)

John: Blue

Game: Great attempt! Let’s check the result:

🟩🟩🟨🟩🟩

You got two letters right and in the right position (🟩), two letters correct but in the wrong position (🟨), and one letter that is not in the word (⬛️).

You are very close now! What’s your next guess? You still have two attempts left. Keep pushing!

I can’t help it ANYMORE…

I say, I lost. Please suggest the right word

Game: No worries! You did a great job guessing, and it was a challenging word.

The correct word for this round of Wordle was “blame.”

Don’t be discouraged….

Wordle is all about practicing and improving your word-solving skills.

If you’d like, we can play another round, or you can try your hand at solving the puzzle again on your own. It’s a fun and rewarding game, and each attempt helps you get better.
